The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), the Universities of Saarland (Germany) and Alicante (Spain), in cooperation with the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation (AvH), are jointly organizing the DIES-International Deans’ Course for Latin America.
The course aims to prepare Deans and academic directives to take on the challenges involved in these university management positions, addressing topics such as strategic planning, financial management, quality and human resources.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. Juan David Corrales Álvarez, has been one of the 25 deans selected in Latin America to participate in this training, and thus strengthen his faculty in academic management.
