Following the results of the fourth edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking, Universidad de La Salle de Bogotá enters the select group of the 10 Colombian universities that contribute the most to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this edition of the ranking, whose objective is to measure the commitment of Higher Education Institutions towards sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda, 1,524 universities from 106 countries have been evaluated.

Unisalle best performing goals are SDG 1 - No Poverty and SDG 4 - Quality Education, fully aligned with the Lasallian values of closing the education gap for financially and socially vulnerable communities.

“We are aware that we cannot carry out this work in isolation or individually, but rather it is the result of collaborative and interdisciplinary processes that involve different actors from our alma mater and society, in synergy with those who inhabit the territories”, states Provost Br. Niky Alexánder Murcia, who maintains that the institutional commitment to reach the goals of the 2030 agenda is transversal, insofar as it “connects and articulates the efforts of the entire university community around care and to the defense of life, in its multiple manifestations, in coherence with the axiological horizons of the university
