Universidad de la Salle

The Universidad de La Salle warmly welcomed the UniLaSalle Lucas do Rio Verde Academic Mission from Brazil from October 18 to 24, 2024. During this week, participants engaged in a series of academic and cultural activities designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the agricultural sector in Colombia. Through classes, practical sessions, and technical visits, attendees not only expanded their knowledge but also enjoyed Colombia's rich natural and cultural diversity.

The activities, coordinated by the Directorate of International and Institutional Relations (DRII) and the Schools of Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, and Economics, Business, and Sustainable Development, included lectures on Agroindustry and Agribusiness, as well as technical visits to important institutions such as the Bio-Systems Center at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, the Santa María Research and Training Center (CIC), the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation (AGROSAVIA), and the Northern Wholesale Market (Codabas).

This exchange has been essential in strengthening relationships between both institutions and creating ties that we hope will lead to future cooperation projects.
