Dr. Diana Milena Carmona Muñoz, Dean of the School of Economics, Business, and Sustainable Development, had an academic visit to Mexico from October 18th to October 24th, 2023. The agenda included collaborative activities with renowned universities such as Universidad La Salle México (ULSA), Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Universidad Iberoamericana and Universidad Tecnológica de Querétaro (UTEQ) with the objetive of strengthening our cooperation with allies in Mexico.

As part of the agenda, Dr. Carmona visited Universidad La Salle México under the Exchange Agreement for Administrative Staff signed by both universities in 2022, the intention of this agreement is to share good practices, promote joint activities and provide opportunities for employees to have international experiences.

In the same way, as part of this exchange, La Salle University, Colombia, received the Head of the Editorial Production of Universidad La Salle México, Mr. Arturo de Jesús Masson Perdomo.

Finally, it is important to mention that, as a result of the academic visit in Mexico, La Salle University and UTEQ signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will allow the development of joint projects, teaching collaborations, student and academic mobility, research, among others. The ceremony took place at UTEQ on October 18th, 2023, with the participation of UTEQ's Directives.

The Directorate of International and Interinstitutional Relations and the School of Economics, Business and Sustainable Development will continue working on the implementation of its  internationalization strategies, and thus, strengthen relationships with national and international strategic partners.
