Mr. Libardo Gutiérrez, director of international and institutional affairs at La Salle participated in the panel “How to demonstrate excellence in internationalization” at the Eurasian Higher Education Summit 2024 in Istanbul, Türkiye. EURIE annual summit it’s an exhibition and a conference to expand the knowledge, networks, share ideas, experiences and best practices for internationalization of higher education.

The panel presented on February 28, 2024, the La Salle University’s experience with the Certificate for Quality in Internationalization with contributions of Eva Fernandez de Labastida, chair of the European Consortium of Accreditation (ECA)  and Ronny Heintze, Deputy Director for International Development at the Agency for Quality Assurance discussing benefits and enhancement by undergoing a Certificate for Quality in Internationalization project CeQuint review. La Salle University, Colombia, became the first Latin American higher education institution to receive the internationalization quality recertification (first time on 2014 and then 2020) from the European Accreditation Consortium (ECA) in the framework of the CeQuint.

It was an opportunity to strengthen collaboration ties with Turkish institutions such as Medipol University, ranked in the 401+ band of the best young universities created by the Times Higher Education (THE).
