The Faculty of Educational Sciences celebrates the granting of the prestigious international quality certificate by the Latin American University Evaluation System (SILEU) of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) (Consulta aquí )to its Master's Degree in Teaching and Doctorate in Education and Society. This recognition, granted for four years, is a testament to the commitment and academic excellence that characterize both programs.

Diego Barragán, Dean of the Faculty, highlights that this achievement reflects the hard work of professors, students and administrators whose educational and research practices are aligned with social transformation and the development of new critical perspectives in the Latin American educational field.

Libardo Enrique Pérez Díaz, director of the Master's Degree in Teaching, proudly highlights the recognition of curricular flexibility, ethical and political commitment, the quality of the teaching staff and the focus on research projects with social and environmental responsibility.

For his part, Carlos Valerio Echavarría Grajales, director of the Doctorate in Education and Society, specifies that "the actions and strategies that ratify our international accreditation have to do with the trajectory of the doctorate itself throughout its 12 years and its development, which has allowed its growth and permanent transformation in the perspective of consolidating an ecosystemic vision of doctoral training".

This achievement places the Faculty and the University at a level of excellence comparable to the best higher education institutions in Latin America and the world. In addition, it represents a challenge and an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with CLACSO in joint projects that positively impact the regional reality.

Obtaining this international accreditation is an achievement that reinforces the commitment of the Faculty of Education Sciences to academic quality, educational innovation and contribution to the development of the Latin American region.
